Popular and versatile Dunedin entertainer, Kelly Hocking, presents a cabaret of Broadway songs both
familiar and new.
Kelly is a professional actor, vocalist, writer and voice coach who studied acting at The American Academy of
Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California.
Having performed all across New Zealand, Dunedinites will recognize her from productions including Chicago, Miss Saigon, Avenue Q, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Marry Poppins, Wicked and her highly praised
award nominated solo show, Thief.
In Rags to Witches – Kelly brings the audience on a journey revisiting some of her greatest roles, songs from roles that “got away” and even some she would never get to sing otherwise. Self indulgent? Maybe.
Funny, thoughtful and entertaining? Definitely
